Kuntaur

Kairoh Garden Kuntaur is located right next to the river Gambia in the small village Kuntaur near Janjanbureh (Georgetown). At the accommodation, you can experience the authentic Gambia whilst taking in the beauty of the idyllic surroundings and interacting with villagers.

In Kuntaur, there are twelve rooms, each with their own porch where you can enjoy the beauty of the authentic Gambia. Eight rooms have their own toilet and shower. In addition, we have a bar and restaurant where you have a breathtaking view of the river. Perhaps you can spot a crocodile or hippo! Also in Kuntaur there is a conference room which is suitable for meetings and workshops. Running water is supplied by using a private borehole and electricity is given by the national electricity company (NAWEC) in the morning and evening hours. We also offer lots of fun and exciting tailor-made activities in Kuntaur and its surroundings.
